THE Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) has urged the Government to introduce a Consumer Credit Act to protect the people's interests.
Malaysia Nanban quoted CAP president S.M. Mohd Idris as saying such an Act was urgently needed as consumer borrowings had risen substantially in recent years.
