KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim withdrew yesterday his RM100mil defamation suit against the Director-General of RTM, the Information Minister and the Government over two documentaries broadcast by the national TV station during prime time on Sept 4 and Sept 5, 2001.
Deputy Registrar Jumirah Marjuki allowed Anwar to withdraw his writ of summons and statement of claim. No order was made as to costs.
