108 researchers to join Miri park expedition

KUCHING: A total of 108 researchers from 15 institutions and agencies in the country will participate in an upcoming scientific expedition to the Loagan Bunut National Park in the Miri Division to gather information for the planning, management and conservation of the park. 

Sarawak Forestry Department senior assistant director Dr Penguang Manggil said the Loagan Bunut Scientific Expedition 2004 was being jointly organised by the department, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) and the Peat Swamp Forest Project.
