KUALA LUMPUR: Teachers will now enjoy the “golden handshake'' payment in lieu of accumulated leave when they retire from the Government, said Education Ministry’s secretary-general Datuk Ambrin Buang.
With this, more than 300,000 teachers will enjoy this perk and can accumulate a maximum of 120 days in their service.
