PETALING JAYA: A 37-year-old woman lost RM10,000 when two men robbed her on the Damansara-Puchong Highway near Motorola on Monday.

In the 12.30pm incident, the self-employed woman had gone to a bank in Bandar Sunway to withdraw RM18,000. She deposited RM8,000 at another bank nearby.

The woman, from Kota Kemuning, then drove towards Subang Jaya.

“While on the highway, she noticed that her right rear tyre was giving problems.

“She pulled over to check the problem. About the same time, two men on a motorcycle pulled over and rushed to the car and grabbed the RM10,000,” a source said.

A PJ Utara senior police officer confirmed the incident.
