PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had a pleasant surprise for his Cabinet members when he turned up to chair the weekly meeting at Putrajaya yesterday.
They had expected his deputy Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to chair the meeting because there had been talk that Abdullah would take a short trip to Los Angeles in the United States to visit his wife Datin Seri Paduka Endon Mahmood before going full swing into the election campaign.
