PETALING JAYA: One hundred containers filled with imported meat worth RM12mil have been stranded in ports in Klang, Penang and Johor for the past one and a half months due to delays in issuing the import licences.
The Malaysian Meat Importers Association is calling for Agriculture Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to resolve the problem that is affecting 25 importers who supply up to 90% of meat in the country.
