MUADZAM SHAH: Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis warned that price controls would be imposed on fish and non-poultry meat if traders raise prices to take advantage of the rising demand.

He said the ministry was aware of the declining demand for chicken following the bird flu virus outbreak in the region and said the ministry would monitor items sold in markets nationwide to ensure their prices did not fluctuate.
