PETALING JAYA: College student Mia-Germain Palencia is no stranger to public debates and winning the English Speaking Union’s (ESU) Public Speaking Competition 2003 is not surprising.
“I’ve been a debater since I was 15 years old and speaking in public is nothing new,” said the 19-year-old student, who is enrolled at the International College of Music.
