IPOH: An American student, awed by the beauty of a waterfall and its surroundings, stepped a little over the edge in his excitement to photograph the view – and slipped 17m into the foaming waters below.
Friends who had accompanied 20-year-old Johnny Kennedy on the trip to the Iskandar Falls, about 20km from Tapah, pulled the unconscious youth from the pool and rushed him in a van to the hospital after the incident on Thursday about 4.30pm.
