KUALA LUMPUR: Socso will provide protection for workers who sustain injuries while attending work related social, sports and religious activities under the proposed amendments to the Employees’ Social Security Act.
Its chief executive officer, Datuk Ng Teck, said yesterday due to concerns raised by employer and employee organisations, Socso was reviewing an earlier proposal to amend Section 2(6) of the Act.
