PENANG: Those in the banking industry and bank customers have been urged to be extra vigilant following recent reports of a fraudulent e-mail, purportedly sent by banks with Internet banking services to online customers.
Association of Banks in Malaysia (ABM) executive director Wong Suan Lye said customers must watch out for such e-mail which had hyperlinks that supposedly are linked to the bank's Internet banking service.
