PENANG: Candidates from Parti Keadilan Nasional and Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) will contest under the Keadilan banner if their merger is not approved.

Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, the pro tem president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat – the merged entity of Keadilan and PRM – said there was no conflict between the two parties about contesting under the Keadilan banner.

“The fact remains that the parties have already merged although we have yet to receive approval from the Registrar of Societies,” she told reporters before visiting the Bayan Baru market yesterday.

Also present were Penang Keadilan chief Dr Mansor Othman and his deputies Cheah Kah Peng and Teoh Teik Huat.
