THE fear of kidnapping is brewing in several Chinese schools in the Klang Valley, with headmasters receiving calls from loan sharks threatening to abduct their pupils, Sin Chew Daily reported.
According to the daily, MCA Public Complaints and Services Department chief Michael Chong said it is believed that the calls came from illegal moneylenders who wanted to put pressure on parents who failed to settle their debts.
