KUALA LUMPUR: Eight members of a hijacking syndicate allegedly responsible for the hijacking and robbery of more than RM4.5mil worth of electronic wafers in Ayer Keroh, Malacca, last December were arrested in a series of raids in several states.
It is learnt that a special task force of experienced officers from the Malacca police and the serious crimes division of the federal police headquarters in Bukit Aman nabbed the syndicate members in Malacca, Seremban, KL International Airport and here yesterday.
