KUALA LUMPUR: Lin Fameiliya Bakhtiar was the odd one out among the 364 Tamil school students who were honoured by the MIC-owned Maju Institute of Educational Development (MIED) for scoring 7As in last year’s UPSR examinations.
Lin, the only Malay UPSR student in SJK (T) Ladang Hopeful, Batang Berjuntai, received a pewter plaque and RM500 from MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu in a ceremony yesterday.
