LONDON: For the first time since the 1997 financial crisis, the number of Malaysian students studying in British institutions of higher learning has started to rise.
According to statistics released by the British Council, there were 10,205 Malaysian students in British universities and colleges in 2002/2003, a 9% increase over the 9,355 in 2001/2002.
