KOTA KINABALU: State veterinary officials are checking migratory birds and some 200 poultry farms as part of measures to check the avian flu virus, following an outbreak of the disease in Thailand.
Sabah Veterinary Services Department director Awang Sahak Salleh said his officers were taking carcasses and waste samples from poultry farms for analysis.
