KUALA LUMPUR: Car dealers expect the 49,000 cars, stuck either in manufacturing plants or seaports and which have just been approved by the Government to be sold based on the old pricing structure, to be snapped up within a week.
The dealers said there was a pent-up demand from buyers who had delayed their purchases as they had expected the prices of new cars to drop this year when they Government fixed the new tariffs.
