MALACCA: Four primary schoolboys, who skipped extra-curricular activities to go for a swim, drowned in a pond at an oil palm estate in Nyalas, about 50km from here.
Jasin OCPD Deputy Supt Mohd Zulkarnain Abdul Rahman said that in the incident on Wednesday evening, one of the boys was believed to have encountered difficulties in the muddy pond and the other three drowned while trying to help him.
