THE rising price of onions in India will become a “major enemy” to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) if the country goes to the polls now, Malaysia Nanban said.
Onions were sold at five rupees (42 sen) per kilo about three months ago but now cost 19 rupees (RM1.60).
