Puteri unit to help the abused in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: Puteri Umno will set up a special unit in Sabah to help abused women, children and youths with problems following the rape and murder of a 10-year-old schoolgirl here on Thursday. 

State Puteri Umno head Rosnah Abdul Rashid Shirlin said that Unit Prihatin Puteri (UPP) would be formed to channel problems faced by victims to relevant authorities like the police and Social Services Department.
