BAM (Iran): The Dashty brothers – Seyed Mahmood, Seyed Sadaghe and Seyed Ali – had it made. They had 100,000 date trees and raked in about RM2.5mil each year from the sweet fruit, which Bam is renowned for.
So tasty were their dates that they were exported to many countries, including Malaysia – under the brand Mazafati.
