KUALA LUMPUR: MCA and Chinese organisations will do whatever possible to help encourage 18-year-old Chinese to volunteer for some 1,000 vacancies in the national service programme.
Party president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting said the community leaders had taken note of the vacancies arising from Chinese children who applied for deferment due to education reasons.
