PETALING JAYA: They may look tasty, but these malt sugar figures in the shape of animals from the Chinese calendar are more than just edible sweets they are considered Chinese folk art from the Ming dynasty.
At the Shanghai Yuyuan Arts and Crafts Festival at Universal Walk in First World Plaza in Genting Highlands is malt sugar painting artist Huang Hong Mei, who arrived here from Yuyuan, Shanghai, to demonstrate her skill.
