KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court postponed to Jan 21 the hearing of an inter-parte application for an injunction by MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu to restrain Malaysian Nanban publisher Penerbitan Sahabat (M) Sdn Bhd and its editor Kumanan Pupathi Athimulam @Athi Kumanan from publishing further defamatory articles.

Justice Datuk Abdul Wahab allowed the postponement following an application by Samy Vellu for leave to commence committal proceedings against the defendants as he had claimed they disobeyed a court order given to them on Dec 1.
