KUALA LUMPUR: Car companies will seek a meeting with the International Trade and Industry Ministry to clarify the latest announcement on the reduction in import duties for completely knocked down (CKD) passenger cars from Asean countries and imposition of excise duties across the board.
An industry player said a clearer picture was expected by Monday once they got clarification from the authorities.
