PUTRAJAYA: All district police stations have been directed to set up specially trained units to handle cases involving sex crimes and domestic violence to minimise the trauma faced by the victims.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who issued the directive yesterday, also wants all the stations to provide a one-way-mirror system for such victims so that they need not face the accused during identification.
