A STUDY by the Pahang traffic police department has shown that motorists who committed traffic offences in the state did not observe elementary safety measures, said Public Amenities and Orang Asli Affairs chairman Datuk Omar Othman.
It was found that several common factors contributed to road accidents, including negligence, failing to stop at junctions, running through traffic lights and dangerous overtaking of vehicles, especially around bends.
