PETALING JAYA: Malaysia will join the worldwide search and rescue mission in Iran following Friday’s devastating earthquake in the country’s south-eastern city of Bam.
The provisional death toll in the disaster, which is said to have wiped out 65% to 70% of the city’s population, is 20,000 with more than 30,000 injured.
