SANDAKAN: The flood situation in Sabahs east coast Kinabatangan and Beluran districts improved slightly yesterday with some of the victims allowed to return home although Sungai Kinabatangan remained above the 13m danger level.
Kinabatangan district officer Abdul Latiff Kandok said eight families comprising 38 people from Kampung Kulu Kulu were allowed to return home although the overall situation in the district was still worrying.
