Conference on surviving breast cancer

KUALA LUMPUR: The Breast Cancer Welfare Association will be organising its first conference entitled “Surviving Breast Cancer: Contemporary Issues” from Jan 9 to 11. 

The target group includes women with breast cancer as well as volunteers and service providers such as nurses and doctors. 

Local and foreign experts will touch on various aspects of living with breast cancer, ranging from the latest treatments and managing one's health after reaching 60 to the issue of Socso and insurance coverage for affected working women.  

There will be sessions where participants could discuss certain issues with the experts and seek solutions to any challenges they might be facing.
