Abdullah presented with painting of ‘virtuous’ bamboo

KUALA LUMPUR: Calligrapher-cum-artist Chung Chen Sun used the bamboo in his Chinese brush painting to represent Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, whom he says is honest, righteous and modestin the eyes of the people. 

Chung, 68, said Senator Yew Tiong Look asked him two weeks ago to come up with a piece of Chinese calligraphy and brush painting to be presented to Abdullah at the dinner held by the Chinese community yesterday to honour the Prime Minister.
