KUALA LUMPUR: The plight of the 6,000 non-graduate teachers who obtained degrees via distance-learning programmes will be the top priority of the new National Union of the Teaching Profession leadership.
Incoming union president Ismail Nihat said these teachers were still languishing in the non-graduate salary scale and it was unfair as they had sacrificed a lot to obtain their degrees.
