SHAH ALAM: From today, investors of unit trust schemes managed by Permodalan Nasional Berhad can add their investment without limit except for Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB), said PNB president and chief executive officer Datuk Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman.
He said the investment limit for ASB investors remained at RM200,000.
“You can top up your investment in any of our unit trust without limit except ASB,” he said at the PNB Hari Raya gathering here yesterday.
PNB now manages eight unit trust schemes with a combined fund size of RM40bil.
Apart from ASB, other unit trust schemes managed by PNB are Amanah Saham Nasional (ASN), ASN 2, ASN 3, Amanah Saham Didik, Amanah Saham Gemilang, Amanah Saham Malaysia and Amanah Saham Wawasan 2020.
Hamad Kama Piah said ASB was exempted as PNB wanted to give way to other units trusts under its management to be subscribed by investors, adding that ASB had already accumulated a large fund size, amounting to RM32bil. – Bernama
