PETALING JAYA: Businessman Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al-Bukhary said he did not feel like a victim of circumstances following the decision to postpone the RM14.5bil North-South double-tracking project.

Syed Mokhtar, who is a substantial shareholder of Malaysian Mining Corporation Bhd which was recently given a contract to handle the project with Gamuda Bhd, said people liked to speculate since the postponement of the project coincided with the change of leadership in the country.
