KUCHING: Malaria cases are on the rise in Sarawak, particularly among the nomadic Penans and those living along the states border areas with Kalimantan.
State Environment and Public Health Minister Datuk William Mawan Ikom said there were seven deaths from the 2,200 cases reported in the first 10 months of the year.
