KUALA TERENGGANU: The PAS state government is closing down all snooker and karaoke centres in the state to prevent gambling and vice activities in the premises, said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang.

“There is now confusion as to what constitutes sports, entertainment or vice. This issue must be resolved,” he said, adding that there were “elements” of gambling in snooker centres and vice at karaoke joints.
