KUCHING: Sarawak’s deficit budgets in recent years were planned on purpose to ensure a vibrant domestic economy, said Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr George Chan Hong Nam.
They were made with due consideration to financial prudence and were not forced by financial constraints, he told the state assembly, in response to concerns raised by members of the House.
