PENANG: The winds of change blowing in Permatang Pauh are a good sign for the Barisan Nasional to recapture the parliamentary seat from the opposition in the next general election.
The sympathy for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that had allowed the opposition to wrest the seat from Barisan in the last general election in 1999 is no longer the dominant factor.
