USM lecturer wins SEA Write Award 2003

PENANG: Universiti Sains Malaysia lecturer Associate Prof Dr Zakaria Ali has won the SEA Write Award for 2003, an annual award to recognise and honour writers from South-East Asia. 

Dr Zakaria, 57, who received the award from King Bhumipol Adulyadej of Thailand on Oct 15, was honoured at a ceremony to celebrate his achievement at theUSM Art Centre yesterday.
