KUALA LUMPUR: Controversial laws like the Internal Security Act or laws lacking in human rights aspects will be improved by the Government from time to time, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said.
He said the Government would consider incorporating Eastern values to make the Act more humane instead of relying solely on human rights sanctioned by the United Nations, which were not necessarily suitable for Asians.
