No one hurt but hill railway service crippled by mishap

PENANG: Scores of workers ran for safety when a newly imported cable being laid along the Penang Hill funicular railway track snapped and plunged more than 1,000m down the hill. 

No one was injured when the 1,000m long cable imported from Switzerland broke while it was being installed along the railway track at the upper station at about 3.30am on Monday.
