Ministers clash over land issue for Chinese school

KOTA KINABALU: A verbal clash between two state ministers over a piece of land here for the construction of a Chinese primary school is prompting calls for more transparency in land award procedures. 

The spat involving Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Chong Kah Kiat and Resource Development Minister Datuk Tham Nyip Shen began about a month ago and came out in the open over the past few days.
