Tenaga, JKKs to monitor streetlights

KANGAR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) will work with selected village safety and security committees (JKKKs) throughout the country to jointly monitor the one million streetlights in the 20,000 villages from next month. 

TNB Distributors Sdn Bhd managing director Datuk Engku Hashim Al Edrus said TNB would spend RM1.5mil each month as token allowance to about 3,000 JKKKs undertaking the task.
