PETALING JAYA: Asian media organisations should try consolidating to enable them to carry out worldwide coverage and have a voice in the globalised world, an American award-winning journalist and media academician said.
University of California, Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism dean Prof Orville Schell said existing major media outlets were becoming conglomerates and had effectively shut out Asian voices.
