KUALA LUMPUR: The Fujian flu currently sweeping over Europe and the United States is a slightly mutated form of a common strain of the influenza virus, a virologist said yesterday.
Universiti Malaya medical microbiology professor Datuk Dr Lam Sai Kit said the mutated strain was from the more common Influenza A/ Panama virus.
