More cases of violence reported in Sarawak

KUCHING: A total of 177 cases of violence has been reported to One-Stop Crisis Centres (OSCC) at the four major hospitals in Sarawak in the first six months of this year, up from 149 in the corresponding period last year.  

At the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) here, 91 cases were reported to the centres from January to June this year which included 77 domestic violence cases, seven rape cases and one case of child abuse while Sibu Hospital recorded 40 cases, Miri Hospital 34 and Bintulu Hospital 12.
