Travel rep: Tap Japanese yen to holiday abroad

MIRI: Japan expects 17 million of its people to travel overseas next year and this should give Malaysia an opportunity to lure them here. 

Stating this, senior sales representative of the Malaysia Airlines office in Tokyo, Eiichi Shimada, said next year would be a boom year for Japanese international travellers if the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) did not return.
