KUALA LUMPUR: The Government has agreed that Malaysia become a signatory to the United Nations Anti-Corruption Convention, thereby committing itself to fighting the scourge not only by way of domestic legislation but also international co-operation.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said yesterday the decision to sign the convention was taken because national borders had become increasingly porous.
